Basket Case/Summer's Formal Wear is centrally located between Charlotte, North Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina. Our store is a prom and pageant specialty shop. We are located in the historical district and provide one on-one-service. Our regular store hours are: Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.Saturday hours are from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. We are also available by appointment. The store has been serving customers for eight years and is owned and operated by Terri Woodward and Summer Woodward Mangum. Terri and Summer enjoy helping customers find the right gown, correct color and style, shoes, and  jewelry. We will also provide advice regarding hairstyle and makeup. Our gowns are constantly updated. New styles. Different looks. We will help you find just the right look at the right price. Our prices are generally lower than our competitors' prices.

WEDDINGS AND TUXEDOS

Weddings can be performed on-site. We have our own officiant.  You must have a South Carolina Marriage License and call in advance. Small weddings performed in a beautiful setting. Different wedding packages available. From simple ceremonies to something more elaborate with an intimate reception. Food. Flowers. Music. Cake. Our prices range from $50.00 and up. For years, Summer's has been providing tuxedos for weddings, proms, balls, debutante presentations and chorus events. Most tuxedos available on site.In some instances, we can fit you in twenty minutes. Top-of-the-line brands and styles. Our tuxedo rental prices start at $55.00. Ask about a free rental for the groom and ring-bearer.
